PLANE: Two companies offer daily flights to Tambor:
SANSA: Departs from Juan Santamaria Interntional Airport.
NATURE AIR: Departs from Toías Bolaños Airport.
The flights takes approximately 30 minutes.

BY CAR: From the Juan Santamaría Airt port take the highway to Puntarenas, this drive will take approximately one hour and 30 minutes. Once in Puntarenas, you need to take the ferry to Puerto Paquera, the ferry crossing through the Gulf of Nicoya takes one hour and 15 minutes. Once in Puerto Paquera, follow the road to Tambor for 24Km. (15 miles), then you'll find H&B on the left side of the road.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
1.
Take a bus from San José to Puntarenas.
2. Take a bus (or taxi) from Puntarenas to ferry dock.
3. Take ferry
from Puntarenas to Paquera.
4. Upon arrival to Paquera there's bus that goes to Cóbano, get on it and ask to be dropped off H&B.
Direct buses depart daily from the Coca Cola bus terminal to Cóbano 2 times a day.
